The Emergency Department (ED) Technician provides basic care for the Emergency Department patient, which includes infants, children, adolescents, adults and geriatrics. This individual assists in the delivery of quality care through direct patient care, clerical duties, and supply maintenance responsibilities. The ED Technician II has access to confidential information, carries out activities under the direct supervision of a Registered Nurse, and functions under the indirect supervision of the Clinical Manager/Supervisor.
Required Educational Degree: High School Diploma or GED
Major/Area of Concentration: REQUIRED - Successful completion EMT Basic Course work within 1 year of hire Or Student Nurse currently enrolled in accredited program.
