    *May Require travel to Los Angeles County, San Diego County, Orange County, and San Francisco

    Molinar Construction has been on the forefront of delivering traditional construction methods and project information in a sophisticated and technological means. All of Molinar Construction projects are managed via a cloud-based management system allowing both clients and the extended project team of architects, consultants, and sub-contractors to access and execute project information and documents in real time from any device anywhere in the world.

    Essential Duties:

    • Supervise projects through entire length of construction
    • Plan in advance to ensure smooth construction operations and avoid unplanned changes
    • Communicate effectively (written and verbal) with stakeholders at all levels to achieve project goals
    • Provide leadership in the field and office to ensure effective job performance
    • Support company safety initiatives and ensure local, state, and federal safety regulations are met
    • Provide full time oversight on jobsite with a focus on schedule, site requirements, safety quality, production tracking, and site cleanliness
    • Manage subcontractor performance and daily activities to keep the project on schedule including communicating delays, etc for schedule updates.
    • Comprehend all design documents, develop material procurement lists (as needed) and implement in field accordingly.
    • Coordinate and supervise all construction activities in a TI or Rehab, Remodel environment.
    • Schedules inspections as necessary throughout the construction process
    • Promotes jobsite safety, encourages safe work practices and rectifies job site hazards immediately through enforcing Site Safety Policies
    • Experience in commercial construction means and methods, including layout, plan coordination
    • Competent and knowledgeable of all major construction hazards through past training and experience
    • Conduct safety meetings
    • Strong emphasis on communication skills in general via phone, text, email with PM team working remotely in San Diego.

    Requirements:

    OSHA 30 preferred

    MSDS Knowledge

    Expert in safe practices and pedestrian safety

    Organized and systematic self-starter

    Firm understanding of construction activities

    Excellent communication (both written and verbal) skills

    Ability to maintain good relationships with the crew and Owner/Client

    Great leadership skills

    Good interpersonal skills

    Great at troubleshooting

    Well versed in construction documents and plans

    Possess a valid California Driver’s License

    MUST be authorized to work in the U.S
