Job Overview: We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Accountant to join our team. As an Accountant, you will be responsible for managing financial records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring compliance with accounting principles and regulations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial management and analysis, as well as experience with various accounting software. Duties: - Prepare and maintain accurate financial records, including general ledger reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation - Perform financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement - Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets - Manage accounts receivable and ensure timely collection of payments - Collaborate with internal teams to ensure accurate recording of financial transactions - Provide guidance and mentoring to junior accounting staff - Stay up-to-date with accounting regulations and best practices - Utilize accounting software such as PeopleSoft and Quicken to streamline processes Experience: - Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field - Proven experience in financial accounting and analysis - Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations - Proficiency in using accounting software and tools - Excellent attention to detail and accuracy - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills - Ability to work independently and meet deadlines We offer competitive compensation packages, including benefits such as health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
