First Call is currently using a 3^rd party bookkeeping service and building a team to bring accounting in house to meet our future needs and demands. 

·        Job Status: Full Time

·        Pay: $60,000 to $70,000 DOE

·        Note: must reside in Montana full time and be willing and able to drive to Missoula for quarterly and annual meetings as well as one off required meetings and company events.

Position Roles and Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the daily operations, staffing and outcomes of the accounting department.

• Monitor and analyze accounting data to produce accurate financial reports.

• Maintain and enforce proper accounting methods, policies, and principles.

• Coordinate and complete periodic audits spanning key functions: AP/AR/Payroll/Records Management. 

• Provide recommendations to improve systems and procedures, initiating corrective actions as needed.

• Ensure the timely completion of financial objectives and adherence to legal and company standards.

• Support the CFO in strategic financial planning and decision-making as needed.

Resource Profile

• Accounting Degree with 5-7 years of relevant experience 

• Supervisory/management experience

• Strong expertise in accounting principles and financial management.

• Proficient in relevant accounting software and tools.

• Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.

• Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.

• Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
