The Plant Manager will report to the VP Operations and has responsibility for all manufacturing operations at the site. The Plant Manager will work closely with the VP Operations and the Executive Leadership Team to deliver a best-in-class manufacturing operation. This is a highly visible role in the organization with direct interaction with the CEO and Board of Directors. Will Manage a multi-process facility with four main production units in a 24/7 operation, QC Lab, and Maintenance.

Ø Establish plant goals and objectives that are consistent with corporation’s short and long-term objectives.
Ø Provide technical leadership to all areas as needed to achieve business objectives.
Ø Drive Customer Satisfaction through the plant to achieve on-time delivery, with consistent quality at the lowest cost.
Ø Assure plant is in complete compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
Ø Drive organizational culture by example that is built upon leadership, integrity, ethics, diversity, empowerment and company core values and overall business objectives.
Ø Lead, direct, motivate workforce of approximately 100.

QUALIFICATIONS / REQUIREMENTS
v BS in Chemical Engineering (preferred) or Mechanical Engineering; 10 - 15 years in chemical manufacturing/petrochemical environment with prior experience as Production/Operations Manager, Plant Manager, senior level facilities management.
v Prepare and fully understand plant operating budgets, cost analysis, and monitor spending and expenses.
v Strong process and production leadership in a chemical plant organization; Experience working with batch and continuous production processes and production of organometallic chemistries preferred.
v Ability to drive cultural change.
v Strong hands-on management through ability to work with salary and hourly employees.
v Understands a need to and possess a desire to be and visit the process area and observe operations, the hourly workforce, and production daily.
v Able to always promote a positive image of company and management.
v Strong leadership, directing, partnering, engaging, and influencing skills; able to lead by example and in a manner which promotes and supports company policies, work ethics, and regulatory compliance.
