Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our team. The Accounting Clerk will be responsible for assisting with various accounting tasks and ensuring accurate financial records. This is a full-time position.

Duties:

- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable transactions

- Reconcile bank statements and credit card statements

- Prepare and maintain financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements

- Assist with tax preparation and filing

- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of financial transactions

- Assist with payroll processing using Intuit or other payroll software

- Assist with month-end and year-end closing procedures

- Perform general administrative tasks as needed

Skills:

- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail

- Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks

- Familiarity with tax regulations and procedures

- Experience working with financial services providers

- Ability to analyze financial data and generate reports

- Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

- Portuguese and Spanish is a plus
