Plant Accounting Manager jobs in Petersburg, VA

We are currently seeking a Burkeville, VA Plant Manager who is enthusiastic, customer-focused and business-oriented to achieve the financial, growth, compliance, and customer satisfaction goals of Parker Oil Company. Reporting directly to the Chief Operating Officer, you will be primarily responsible for planning and supervising the day-to-day oil and propane operations of the Burkeville service area. This position also oversees the Farmville Plant.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of the bulk plant’s propane and oil delivery operations. Including profit and expense activity of sales, inventory, fleet, staffing and customer acquisition and retention
• Manage the bulk staff which includes interviewing, hiring, coaching, training and managing performance of service technicians, delivery drivers, dispatchers, and CSRs
• Monitor and assure compliance in areas including safety, health/environmental, human resources and financial/ ethical considerations
• Monitor regional assigned C-Stores for compliance of contractual and brand requirements
• Assist in new business acquisition through designing and creating proposals for new customers
• Plan, execute, and monitor customer interaction and service ensuring all work is performed in a manner which consistently meets or exceeds Parker Oil Company expectations

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of business experience
• Bachelor's Degree in business preferred
• Delivery and/or distribution, sales and general management experience
• Exceptional written and interpersonal communication skills
• Proficient with general computers and Microsoft Office products required
• Ability to provide strong leadership through coaching and mentoring with a focus on customer service
