Plant Accounting Manager manages all financial control and accounting activities of a plant including general and cost accounting, payables/receivables and payroll. Ensures the plant's financial control processes and systems comply with company policies, applicable regulations, and provide required information. Being a Plant Accounting Manager monitors plant operation results against operating plans and direct the preparation of financial, production output, and other reports used to measure and control plant activities and costs. Leads the plant financial and capital budgeting process. Additionally, Plant Accounting Manager recommends and implements programs to improve productivity, increase efficiencies, and reduce costs. May require a CPA. Requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or equivalent. Typically reports to top management. The Plant Accounting Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. As a senior client manager, you will be the face of the company to our clients (from the comfort of your own home or wherever you choose to work). That means we are looking for the best of the best. While accounting will be part of your daily routine, most of your time will be spent interacting with clients and overseeing bookkeepers.
Responsibilities:
The approximate number of hours per week will be agreed upon during the hiring process, but the position can be anywhere between 20 and 40 hours per week. The position requires some daily availability unless time off is arranged beforehand, but the amount of time each day is flexible.
Compensation
Starting at $65,000 depending on experience. Pay increases will be directly tied to quality and efficiency, including the ability to create systems and lead less experienced bookkeepers. We charge clients a flat fee instead of by the hour, so we are driven to serve well and serve efficiently using automation and processes.
