Plant Accounting Manager manages all financial control and accounting activities of a plant including general and cost accounting, payables/receivables and payroll. Ensures the plant's financial control processes and systems comply with company policies, applicable regulations, and provide required information. Being a Plant Accounting Manager monitors plant operation results against operating plans and direct the preparation of financial, production output, and other reports used to measure and control plant activities and costs. Leads the plant financial and capital budgeting process. Additionally, Plant Accounting Manager recommends and implements programs to improve productivity, increase efficiencies, and reduce costs. May require a CPA. Requires a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or equivalent. Typically reports to top management. The Plant Accounting Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Plant Accounting Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role as a Plant Manager with us in Oxnard, CA. The Plant Manager will be responsible for overseeing plant operations, production planning, manufacturing operations, and overall plant management. The role requires ensuring efficient production, coordinating with various departments, optimizing plant performance, and maintaining quality and safety standards.
Qualifications:
- Plant Management and Operations Management skills
- Plant Operations and Manufacturing Operations experience
- Production Planning expertise
- Strong leadership and team management skills
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Knowledge of quality control and safety standards
- Good communication and interpersonal skills
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related field
- Experience in the packaging or food industry is a plus

Pay: $130,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
