Job Description:
Pay Range - $17-$19
Duties:
Schedule and conduct new hire employee orientation.
Interview CNA/NAT candidates.
Answers questions of a routine nature, or refers callers/visitors to the Director as appropriate.
Updates all status changes in SOS
Ensure proper distribution of termination letters, prepare separation packets and schedule exit interviews.
Schedules interviews for open positions in coordination with hiring departments
Complete all requests for verification of employment.
Coordinates external advertising for open positions and updates the open job log.
Receives incoming mail and correspondence for the Human Resources offices. Handles all outgoing mails as required.
Processes internal job postings. Maintains their distribution and removal upon expiration.
Schedules interviews for open positions in coordination with hiring departments
Schedules applicants for pre-employment physicals and mantoux testing as needed.
Verifies all pre-employment physical requirements are met prior to start date.
Updates the SOS database with new employee information prior to start date
Coordinates start date and orientation scheduling for new hire employees.
Performs all necessary pre-employment checks on new hire employees (ex. OIG)
Maintains applicant pool and screens candidates for Nurse Aid Training program.
Creates new employee files and confirms all pre/post employment requirements are met prior to start date.
Access and maintain protected health information (PHI) on employees in both the written and electronic formats, i.e. SOS Database, Medical Files, Short-Term Disability and Worker's Compensation Documentation.
Performs duties according to the highest ethical and moral standards and in adherence with the facility's corporate compliance plan and all applicable governing laws. Adheres to the facility's confidentiality statement in accessing and safeguarding protected health information (PHI) of residents and employees, as necessary to perform job duties.
Any other duties as assigned by the Director.

Associate Degree in business or related field. Knowledge of personal computer technology, including spreadsheet and word processing software
Strong organization and communication skills
Ability to work independently and carry out required office duties.
Ability to adapt to a fast paced and frequently changing environment
