Plant Inspector inspects finished products for conformance to specifications using fixed or preset measuring instruments. Checks for irregularities and ensures that final products conform with established tolerance levels for quality and performance. Being a Plant Inspector documents all instances of non-conformance and rejected products in production reports. Prepares required inspection certifications. Additionally, Plant Inspector requires a high school diploma or equivalent. Typically reports to a supervisor. The Plant Inspector works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job. Primary Function
The Inspector will supervise and run the day-to-day operations of the inspection crew while on the field inspections. Make decisions and report afterwards.

Responsibilities
· Maintain complete confidentiality of information pertaining to the company and other proprietary information
· Complete tasks/projects within the hours scheduled
o Meet exceed metrics and goals assigned, for example:
§ Hours spent on a project
§ Amount of rework or defects
o Delegate tasks and responsibility to ensure
§ Jobs are completed on time
§ Inspection procedures are being followed
§ Take measurements and record data as required
§ Equipment is maintained properly
o Maintain a clean area, dispose of all material in the proper manner
· Generate Inspection Report at the completion of the Jobs
o Sign off on all Inspection Reports
o Ensure all job specific data is correct

Minimum Skills Requirement
· High School Diploma or equivalent
· Minimum 2 years in the inspection field Oil & Gas Industry
· Strong Background of the Inspection side of the Oil & Gas industry to properly use equipment, tools, and instruments:
o Expert in using Calibrated Tools to perform the following processes MPI; LPI; EMI; VI and UT
o Read, understand, Inspection Reports to perform daily task
o Proven ability to Rig heavy objects for lifting by forklift or crane
o Certified for Large forklift operation
o Overhead crane operation
· Must be able to lift 51 lbs
· Proven capability of handling a heavy workload
· Have the ability to maneuver effectively on customer sites.
· To operate a company vehicle must have valid driver’s license and a clean driving record for insurability. Employment may be contingent on this requirement
· Must be able to satisfactorily complete safety programs as required
