We are seeking a highly motivated Plant Accountant to be based at our manufacturing operation in Newberry, SC. The Plant Accountant will report to the Divisional Controller.

The Plant Accountant will be responsible for the following: Accounts Payable, Payroll Processing, Purchasing Support, Local Accounts Receivable, Assistance in Month End Process, Daily Reporting, and any additional financial analytical support needed at the mill.

Requirements:

• The successful candidate will have a minimum 4-year degree in business, accounting, or finance.
• Related work experience of 2 to 3 years (depending on the type) is preferred, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint are essential.
• Oracle financial system experience is a plus.
• Must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
