Plant Inspector jobs in Saginaw, MI

A reputable Midland manufacturer is seeking Inspectors to join their team! This is a full-time, temp-hire opportunity after a reliable attendance record has been demonstrated and a good work ethic established. Shifts are: 1st shift: 6am-2pm ($14.00/hr), 2nd shift: 2pm-10pm ($14.70/hr), 3rd shift: 10pm-6am ($15.12/hr) Monday-Friday with the rare Saturday if not enough volunteers are signed up for overtime during the week. Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.

Responsibilities:

• Careful examination of newly manufactured components to detect any presence of debris, flaws, or irregularities before advancing to the subsequent phase of production.
• Positioning the component onto a press, aligning it with the mold, manually smoothing it, and utilizing both hands to activate the machinery by pressing two buttons.
• Extracting the completed component and transferring it to the subsequent workstation.
• Timely and precise fabrication of assorted components and/or assemblies in accordance with assigned productivity benchmarks, quality assessments, and adherence to relevant ISO and safety protocols.

Skills:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse environment is preferred.
• Ability to remain on feet for extended periods with occasional lifting up to 30LBs.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well with team members.

Qualifications:

• Must have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Must have reliable transportation method in order to demonstrate a reliable attendance record.
• Interested candidates must successfully complete a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
