We are currently seeking to hire a Plant Operations Manager to our management team.
This person provides leadership and direction for the Northeast production facility in Hatfield, PA. This hands-on leadership position supports, coaches, directs and oversees all daily operations of the facility from sourcing/purchasing raw materials to shipping finished product while ensuring policies and procedures are followed in accordance with Fresco Foods culture and values. This facility requires a strong leader that is familiar with a startup and ramp up environment. Responsible for the development and review of operational budget. Implements and develops training and productivity improvements. Must be a champion of food safety and workplace safety.
Duties and Responsibilities
· Lead all production activities for the Northeast production facility in Hatfield, PA
· Build operational management team, provide direction and execute on production.
· Development, manage and communicate key performance indicators.
· Drive and encourage team to develop solutions to improve productivity, process flow, quality, and efficiency of operations
· Leads management team meetings to communicate goals, changes, and overall performance towards continuous improvement.
· Ensures that proper setup and data is inputted into operating ERP system, Netsuite.
· Makes sure that proper inventory levels are maintained for supplies, raw materials, etc.
· Accountable for facility P&L and communicates financial performance to key personnel
· Analyze areas of waste and inefficiency while developing methods and procedures to reduce
· Work with management team to ensure proper workforce for each area.
· Assist in interviewing, hiring, disciplinary actions, performance reviews and other HR related responsibilities
· Drives focus into daily activities and behaviors with direction towards safety, training, motivation, and employee development
· Know and understand all equipment in plant from the culinary to production and shipping
· Assist and implement the enforcement of policies for: GMPs, HACCP, SQF, OSHA, USDA, FDA
· Ensure all purchase orders are shipped in a timely manner and fulfilled 100%
· Collaborates with customers in regards to product improvement, facility audits, etc.
Skills & Qualifications:
· Strong strategic thinking and planning
· Understanding of budget management and financial monitoring
· Savvy with many software applicable programs (Microsoft Office) and previous work with an ERP system (Netsuite, SAP, Fishbowl)
· Excellent leadership skills, including goal setting, motivating, training and mentorship
· Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, including writing, speaking and active listening
· Effective conflict resolution and problem-solving skills
· Good organization and time management
· Comfortable in a fast-paced or high-pressure environment
· In-depth knowledge of the food production industry especially regarding food safety
Requirements:
· Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business or Engineering
· Significant experience leading a manufacturing organization, 5 years preferably
· Physically capable of supporting operations team with production tasks
This position is responsible for food safety within the scope of its responsibilities.

Pay: $110,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
