Position Overview:
We are looking for a highly skilled Plant Manager to oversee our manufacturing plant operations. The ideal candidate will be a proactive leader with a strong background in manufacturing processes, quality control, and team management. Reporting directly to the VP of Operations, the Plant Manager will be responsible for optimizing production efficiency, ensuring product quality, on time delivery, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities include but not limited to:
· Complete P&L responsibility for the operation.
· Develop and implement strategies to optimize production efficiency, minimize downtime, ensure on time delivery, and reduce costs.
· Oversee day-to-day operations of the manufacturing plant, including production scheduling, inventory management, and quality control.
· Lead and mentor a team of production supervisors, engineers, and technicians to achieve production targets and performance objectives.
· Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Engineering, Supply Chain, and Quality, to drive process improvements and resolve operational issues.
· Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, safety standards, and environmental regulations.
· Implement best practices in lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies to enhance operational efficiency and drive cost savings.
· Analyze production data and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions as needed.
· Foster a culture of teamwork, accountability, and innovation to achieve operational excellence.
Qualifications:
· Proven track record of success in a manufacturing leadership role, with at least 5 years of experience in plant management or operations management.
· Strong technical expertise in manufacturing processes, equipment, and quality systems.
· Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop high-performing teams.
· Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a data-driven and results-oriented mindset.
· Proficiency in lean manufacturing principles, Six Sigma, and other continuous improvement methodologies.
· Effective communication skills, with the ability to interact with employees at all levels of the organization.
