Position-  Plant Operations Support

Clark Fork Valley Hospital is currently hiring for a Maintenance Technician to help manage the general maintenance and curb appeal of our organization. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

1. Care for the grounds by developing and maintaining an appropriate grounds cycle of care that provides mowing, mulching, weeding, removing thatch, and trimming and edging around flower beds, walks, and walls.
2. Mix and spray or spread fertilizers, herbicides, or insecticides onto grass shrubs, and trees, using hand or automatic spraying or spreading.
3. Maintain irrigation systems, including winterizing the system and spring startup.
4. Care for floors by establishing and maintaining a regular, systematic cycle of care that provide a professional appearance with the least interruption of patient care.
5. Demonstrate maintenance and use of appropriate floor care equipment, including proper storage and cleaning.
6. Provide proper upkeep of sidewalks, driveways, parking areas, fountains, planters, and other ground features including the removal of snow and the spreading of salt.
7. Use irrigation methods to adjust the amount of water consumption and to prevent waste.
8. Assist in painting and general maintenance duties as needed.
9. Support EVS in trash and bio hazard management.

Schedule- 36-40/hrs. Weekly Benefits- This position is eligible for the full time benefit package

Compensation- $13.43– $21.23/hr.
