Plant Superintendent supervises and coordinates workers' activities in all phases of plant operations. Develops and manages production and maintenance schedules to meet internal volume, cost, and quality goals. Being a Plant Superintendent utilizes operational metrics to analyze productivity, identify issues, and achieve production goals. Troubleshoots operational, materials, equipment, and staffing problems and coordinates solutions. Additionally, Plant Superintendent implements plant safety and security inspections, auditing, and training procedures to meet OSHA and other required regulations. Typically requires a bachelor's degree in manufacturing engineering or equivalent. Typically reports to a director. The Plant Superintendent manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Plant Superintendent typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. A-Gas is hiring a Plant Superintendent to lead operations teams which drive capacity and improve our production of reclaimed refrigerant gas at our plant in Rhome, Texas (15 min outside of Fort Worth).
In this role, you will be responsible for working with the Plant Manager in safe and efficient daily operations within multiple fast-paced production departments supporting the company's objectives that are outlined in both ISO 9001:2015 and ISO 14001:2015 standards including AHRI 700 Certification Programs, while following safety best practices.

Pay will be commensurate with experience. The salary range for this position is starts at $92,000 and goes up based on experience. Thisrole is also eligible for the company profit-sharing program and long term incentive program.
