This role will be located at one of Discovery Land Company’s locations: Silo Ridge Field Club, set in Amenia, New York.

Silo Ridge Filed Club is seeking Player Services Attendants to join the Golf Operations Department.

Members of the Player Service Team are responsible for assuring exceptional, first-class service and the Discovery Land experience to our Members of Silo Ridge Field Club, and their guests.

Player Services team members must be positive, attentive, and learn to anticipate the needs of the members.

Key Responsibilities

• Interact with Members & Guests in a positive and impactful way. 
• Be attentive to the Members & Guests needs; have recognition with them and their habits.
• Must effectively communicate all pertinent information amongst his/her/them team members and supervisory staff regarding daily operations.
• Maintain the Practice Facility:
  • Clean Members & Guests golf clubs and carry their golf bag.
  • Have clean golf balls in den caddies at all times.
  • Fully stocked amenities on and around the PF.
  • Supervise the short game area and putting course - clean pick as needed.
• Maintain the Cart Barn: 
  • Clean, detail, stock and charge the fleet of 60 golf carts.
  • 18th Hole experience (interact with Members & Guests after their round).
  • On-course amenities remain stocked and iced every day.
  • Keep the cart barn area swept, clean, and food/trash-free.
  • Staging golf carts at the Valet and the Practice Facility.

Qualifications

• • Ability to work well under pressure and balance multiple priorities and assignments.
  • Must be highly service-focused with a desire to engage with members and their guests.
  • Demonstrated initiative – ability to think, work, and make decisions to solve member concerns based on sound judgment.
  • Be able to achieve high work standards: attention to detail, accuracy, ability to listen, and timeliness.

Additional Requirements

• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to deliver service to members, guests, and team members.
• Must be able to work flexible work hours/schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays. Long hours may be required due to business demands.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Ability to stay calm and focused during the busiest of times.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English; additional languages preferred.
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the position including, but not limited to, working indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions, standing, walking, and moving for periods of greater than eight (8) hours, and lifting and carrying items sometimes greater than fifty (50) pounds.
