The Assistant Club Director will be responsible for creating a positive Member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Legends Barbell members, prospective members, and guests.

Responsibilities:

• Demonstrate a working knowledge of all standard operating procedures and policies that pertain to the club.
• Communicate and implement club policies and procedures to employees.
• Assist Club Director in training, developing, and nurturing friendly and inclusive team members to support the needs of Members
• Working to be a strong example of leadership through observing, coaching, accountability, and showing them what "great" looks like in your own actions every day
• Problem-solve obstacles with and for your team, to guarantee an outstanding Member and Team Member experience.
• Provide guidance to your Supervisor to achieve quality facility maintenance and cleanliness
• Instill a sense of common responsibility and teamwork across club functions to maintain positive member and team member experience, with a focus on bringing together the diverse strengths and experiences of individual team members
• Manage Service Team to ensure policies and procedures are followed at all times
• Covers Service Staff shifts in the event of an emergency
• Assists Service Managers to ensure all Members concerns are addressed in a timely manner
• Enforces all Club rules, and policies, and promotes proper execution of all procedures.
• Manage membership questions, concerns, and inquiries and be the face of the club by providing hospitality to all members and guests
• Leads by example with conduct in Club and outside of Club and online

QUALIFICATIONS/REQUIREMENTS

• 3-5 years of broad retail/hospitality/operations industry experience, requiring high execution in both operations and service, with a focus on high team member and/or customer turnover
• Phenomenal communication skills, oral and written, with a heavy emphasis on listening!
• Demonstrated success managing through defined strategy and delegation
• A High School diploma or equivalent required
• Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification preferred
• Passionate about hospitality and excellence for our members
• Can work in a dynamic, fast-paced, goal-oriented environment without sacrificing the quality of service
• Have fitness industry experience (preferred)
• Love to constantly learn and grow
• Ability to use sound business judgment and have strong analytical skills
• Ability to effectively communicate with constituents

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENT/ENVIRONMENT

Must be able to work in an environment with occasionally high noise levels. The sound of weights clinking, feet flying across treadmills, hype music, and the laughter of lives changing can get loud

Must be able to move frequently through all areas of the club. Your day includes continuous engagement and interaction with team members and club members

Daily duties include remaining in a stationary position for extended periods of time and moving for prolonged periods of time.
