Plumber inspects, repairs, installs, modifies, and maintains plumbing fixtures and piping in heating, water and drainage systems. Identifies plumbing and safety problems applicable to the installation and takes necessary corrective action using appropriate parts and tools. Being a Plumber complies with all required safety, building code and inspection requirements. Reads and interprets blueprints, specifications, and other instructions. Additionally, Plumber has completed required apprenticeship. Typically requires a high school diploma. Requires Journeyman Plumber status. Requires a State License for plumbing. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Plumber works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. In This Role YOU Will:
Drive to potential customers’ homes to meet with them for a pre-scheduled appointment.
Consult, discuss findings, and provide a job proposal in an attempt to bring sales of solution to a close.
Carry out installation and repair projects daily from beginning to end in order to ensure the best outcome for our clients.
Build trusting relationships by working cohesively with various departments and managers responding with a sense of urgency to plumbing and production related and general inquiries from said departments/managers in addition to external customers.
Outstanding Candidates Will Have:
Expert knowledge of plumbing related services, current plumbing license and knowledge of or up-to-date regulations.
Knowledge of basement systems including piers, anchors, and waterproofing is a plus.
Ability to work independently or as part of a team and meet expectations outlined.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to interpret complex information or instructions into understandable job specifications, measurements, and standards.
