Plumber inspects, repairs, installs, modifies, and maintains plumbing fixtures and piping in heating, water and drainage systems. Identifies plumbing and safety problems applicable to the installation and takes necessary corrective action using appropriate parts and tools. Being a Plumber complies with all required safety, building code and inspection requirements. Reads and interprets blueprints, specifications, and other instructions. Additionally, Plumber has completed required apprenticeship. Typically requires a high school diploma. Requires Journeyman Plumber status. Requires a State License for plumbing. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. The Plumber works under moderate supervision. Gaining or has attained full proficiency in a specific area of discipline. Job Summary: The Plumber (Re-Pipe) works on a assigned job site (s) to complete the job which R3 has contracted with the owner and/or owner agent. We have more than 45 apartment communities in Southern California, so we are looking for people from various locations (Orange County, San Bernardino, & LA County).
Salary: $22.00 - 28.00 per hour
Essential Job Duties:
Meets daily with Foreman.
Demos job site according to scope of work.
Knowledge and experience of Rough Plumbing, Rough Electrical (mechanical a plus)
Knowledge and experience: hang, patch, and mud drywall.
Knowledge and experience of finish plumbing, finish Electrical (mechanical a plus)
Keeps job site neat and clean at all times.
Handles all job site requirements timely.
Is aware of all utility shut-off locations.
Adheres to the policies and procedures manual.
Maintains a professional, yet friendly demeanor.
Must adhere to the company uniform policy during working hours at all projects.
Arrives to work on time, follows directions, interacts well with coworkers and residents, and accepts constructive criticism.
Performs other tasks and duties as assigned by the Project/Property Foreman or Supervisor.
Must have knowledge of smart phone/IPad functions; emails, order materials, change orders, etc.
Microsoft Office a plus
Job Requirements:
Knowledge and experience using hand held tools such as hammers, screwdrivers, etc.
Knowledge and experience using power tools such as drills, nail guns, chop saws, etc.
Own and use a variety of hand and power tools.
Maintain equipment, follow safety procedures, and be alert to hazards.
Previous renovation experience preferred.
Physical ability to bend, stretch, stand, climb stairs and walk for long periods up to three hours before taking a break.
The ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Willingness and ability to work over time if necessary.
Willingness and ability to travel to different job sites daily.
