CODE ENFORCEMENT ADMINISTRATOR

The Central Berks Regional Police Department Police Commission has an opening for a Code Enforcement Administrator. The Code Enforcement Administrator is responsible for a variety of routine and complex code enforcement management and supervisory duties to support the activities of public safety, including enforcing laws and ordinances administered by the Central Berks Regional Codes Enforcement Department. This position is located within the Central Berks Regional Police Department and will report to the Chief of Police for the Central Berks Regional Police Department. Qualifications for this full-time position include a bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience. Prior supervisory or management experience together with Code Enforcement experience is also helpful. The possession of a valid driver's license is required as well as the ability to pass a drug test. A background check which includes child abuse, PA State Police and FBI clearances will be required of the successful candidate.
Compensation is based on a 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday, with occasional limited evening or weekend responses required. Salary is commensurate with experience.
