Police Patrol Officer is responsible for patrolling an assigned area to prevent and discover crime and to enforce regulations. Responsible for responding to calls, taking necessary action at the scene of crime or disturbance, conducting investigations, making arrests, testifying in court, and completing reports/forms and routine paperwork. Being a Police Patrol Officer requires an associate degree in criminal justice and/or additional certifications and at least 12 to 18 months of law enforcement experience. Requires Firearms Certification. Additionally, Police Patrol Officer typically reports to a police sergeant. The Police Patrol Officer works under moderate supervision.     MUST BE ABLE TO WORK 7PM - 7AM (PART- TIME)

    PREFERED CANDIDATE HAS OPEN AVAILABILITY CAN WORK WEEKENDS

    MUST HAVE OPEN AVAILABILITY

    MUST HAVE 1-2 YEARS OF FULL TIME SECURITY EXPERIENCE

    MUST HAVE 40 HOURS OF TRAINING CERTIFICATES

    MUST BE ABLE TO WALK FOR 8-10 HOURS A DAY IN ANY WEATHER CONDITION

    MUST HAVE PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE RESOLVING CONFLICTS / DE-ESCALATING SITUATIONS.

    • Monitor premises to prevent theft, violence, or infractions of rules.
    • Must be able to travel to different locations
    • Rover to different sites as needed
    • Thoroughly examine doors, windows, and gates to ensure proper function and security
    • Warn violators of premise rules and regulations
    • Apprehend or expel persons engaging in suspicious or criminal acts
    • Report any facility issues such as fire hazards and leaking water pipes
    • Write daily activity and incident reports
    • Request emergency personnel for high-risk situations
    • Be able to use electronic devices for reporting
    • Experience removing transients (Preferred)

    ​Qualifications:

    • Previous experience in security, law enforcement, or other related fields
    • Familiarity with security equipment
    • Ability to handle physical workload
    • Strong attention to detail

    Job Type: Part-time

    Pay: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour
