Policy Change Director manages all aspects of insurance policy changes according to company guidelines. Being a Policy Change Director develops, implements, and communicates policies and practices concerning policy changes and related costs. Requires a bachelor's degree. Additionally, Policy Change Director typically reports to top management. The Policy Change Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Policy Change Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.     Do you have a passion for continuous improvement and problem solving? Trane Technologies is hiring a Change Agent in our Fort Smith, AR manufacturing facility. Our Fort Smith site manufactures Commercial HVAC products. In this role you will support our Lean transformation through Lean principles, practices and tools.

    If you have experience with lean manufacturing and have implemented continuous improvement tools and techniques, then we want to hear from you!

    This position is designated as On-site.

    Responsibilities:

    • Conducting process mapping to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of current operations; Review existing and new procedures/controls to identify waste and build plans and organize teams to change.
    • Planning and executing Rapid Improvement Events or Just Do Its to eliminate waste from processes resulting in improved productivity.
    • Training/coaching line leaders or office staff in assigned area on problem solving behaviors and basic Lean principles, including flow, on demand, zero defects, standardized work and visual management.
    • Support adherence to event Rapid Improvement Event standard work by ensuring high levels of engagement and collaboration during pre-work, event week and post event weeks.
    • Fostering culture change by training, developing and coaching employees to adopt lean principles behaviors and follow the principles and practices of OpEx.
    • Collaborating with the Value Stream Coach, Department Managers and Supervisors to resolve any issues that arise during implementation and/or maintenance phases.

    Qualifications:

    • Effective communication and presentation skills to various audiences.
    • Ability to facilitate a group’s activities and discussions using a defined process.
    • Viewed as leader who can energize and motivate inclusive teams, and a positive influencer of change.
    • Associates or Bachelor of Science degree or related discipline preferred (Equivalent education / training / or experience will be considered in lieu of a formal degree).
    • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing principles and continuous improvement based tools and techniques required.

    Compensation :

    Base Pay Range: $70,000-95,000 / annually
