Policy Change Supervisor supervises a group of insurance policy change technicians to ensure that policy changes and requests are carried out according to established guidelines. Determines action on changes for which a policyholder has applied, but which are not covered by policy provisions, and computes costs or allowances for policy changes. Being a Policy Change Supervisor contacts policy owners and field agents with pertinent information that may affect a policy change. Does not have underwriting approval. Additionally, Policy Change Supervisor requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Policy Change Supervisor supervises a group of primarily para-professional level staffs. May also be a level above a supervisor within high volume administrative/ production environments. Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Administrative/Executive Assistant. You will provide administrative support, coordinate projects, and assist with various office tasks associated with a growing health and life insurance agency. We help people with their individual health insurance, Medicare insurance options, social security optimization, life insurance, and annuities. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is computer-savvy, has strong organizational skills, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment. This position is in-person with a somewhat flexible work schedule. You may need to work evenings from time to time, but you would be notified in advance. We have a VERY busy time of year from October through December that is similar to tax season for accountants. That time of year is ALL HANDS ON DECK and your presence is significantly needed. During the rest of the year, we still work, but it is much more relaxed, especially on beautiful Michigan days. You may also be asked to participate in community outreach events such as trade shows, charity golf events (we are not great golfers but we have tons of fun), client appreciation events, marketing events, and networking events. This is a full-time position that may lead into a more significant role as an agent producer, but if you love the job, you will not be forced into something else. Responsibilities:
- Perform general administrative duties such as answering phone calls, responding to emails, cold calling prospects that respond to our ads, and maintaining an efficient office environment.
- Assist with data management and bookkeeping
- Coordinate and schedule meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements
- Provide personal assistant support as needed.
- Assist with event planning and coordination
- Conduct research and compile information for various projects
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
Skills:
- Proficient in computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Strong administrative and organizational skills
- Excellent project coordination abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in data entry
- Previous experience as a personal assistant or in a clerical role is a plus
- Familiarity with office procedures and equipment
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively

You will be required to obtain your insurance license. This is a non-negotiable and you will be required to obtain it within 90 days. You will not be required to sell, but you need to have a license in order to do specific things for the agents you will work with. If you have a desire to sell and produce, that would be great too!
