Policy Change Technician jobs in Helena, MT

We are seeking individuals who are passionate about serving our local community in the mental health field. As a Case Manager, you will play an essential role in being an instructional spokesperson for those we support. You will be responsible for helping our clients acquire and maintain governmental benefits, attending court hearings, and informing them of their unique diagnoses. We require potential employees to have completed a bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a similar area. Applicants with 1-2 years of experience working with clients with severe mental illness (SDMI) are preferred.

$19 hourly

• Assess the client's needs, including activities of daily living, every 90 days
• Facilitate referrals and access to resources and providers to meet the needs of the client
• Plan treatment with the client along with anyone the client feels should be a part of it, at least every 90 days
• Professionally represent Winds of Change
• File progress notes daily
• Fill out and complete internal and external forms and other documents promptly
• Participate in required training, including online or in-person
• Possess a valid driver’s license, and have transport and automobile insurance
• Strictly abide by HIPAA rules and keep any information confidential
• Uphold productivity standards
• Attend meetings or other events as needed on a weekly basis
• Maintain consistent attendance
• Evaluate the client's needs, including activities of daily living, every 90 days
• Provide referrals and connections to resources and service providers to meet the client's needs
• Design treatment plans with the client and any other persons deemed necessary at least every 90 days
• Portray Winds of Change with professionalism in the community
• Document progress records

• For applicants with a Bachelor’s Degree in an unrelated field, one year of experience working in a direct service capacity (i.e., after-school program, nursing home, mental health, client advocacy) is required
