This position is a 2nd shift position, Monday - Thursday 4.30 pm to 3.00 am
The purpose of the production operator position is to use company equipment to efficiently process metal powder and briquettes in various forms in accordance with applicable work instructions yielding a product that complies with customer specifications.
Safely operate material handling equipment to transport and position material for processing. Interpret work orders and work instructions to set-up and operate equipment. Monitor process controls and adjust operating parameters to ensure a conforming product. Complete documentation legibly that serves as objective evidence that work has been performed in accordance with company and customer requirements. This can include various reports, logs and tags. Perform transactions and data entry at computer workstations. Perform housekeeping / safety tasks.
