Policy Processing Clerk jobs in Rochester, MN

Responsibilities include total breakdown of beef or hog carcass with the use of a meat saw, additional trimming of meat, as well as grinding and/or packaging.

• Cuts and trims meat products using a knife.
• Operates various production equipment in the processing of meat products which includes packaging, skinning and grinding.
• Operate saws, knives, cuber, and additional equipment as needed.
• Maintain proper sanitary conditions to include cleaning and sanitizing of all work surfaces, utensils, and equipment.
• Conform to all relevant USDA standards as they apply to the position.
• Fill in positions and areas as necessary.
• Follows company Good Manufacturing Practice program to produce safe, quality food.
• Performs various other production duties as assigned by management.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

• Moderate to heavy lifting and walking - lifting/carrying to 50 lbs., pushing/pulling to 50 force lbs., reaching, turning, standing, squatting, stooping/bending, equipment operation (meat saw, bone scraper, knives, slicer, band saw, scales, wrapping machine). Must be able to work effectively in refrigerated/cooler environment.

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
