Policy Processing Clerk, Sr. jobs in El Paso, TX

POSITION PURPOSE:

Diverse responsibilities which will ensure individual’s skills are utilized in any area of need on a daily basis as directed by the Warehouse Manager/Supervisor. Process Inbound/outbound shipments via Blue Yonder for customer finished goods that will need to be loaded on proper route. Ensure shipment accuracy and report supplier issues and dispatch route carriers from Penske Yard.

PAY: $17/hr

SHIFT: 1st Shift

SCHEDULE: Monday to Friday 7:00 AM to 3:30PM

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Utilizing a variety of material handling equipment including forklift trucks, pallet jacks or hand trucks, load and unload trailers/flatbed may include heavy machinery. Material handling Trailer/Container to staging area and ensure proper placement in appropriate location.

• Process audit functions that include auditing Returnable containers related documentation when necessary.

• Ensure all ISO procedures are being followed.

• Use Blue Yonder and Yard Management computer system for material handling and Container/Trailer movement functions.

• Audit material as required (individual loads or shipments satisfying quantities and customer specifications)

• Assist in guiding, coaching, and training of employees as needed to comply with shipping requirements using the knowledge of Blue Yonder systems.

• Process all loads by using any electrical devices such as scanners/computers to create manifests and receive material.

• Apply any type of labels as needed.

• Requires to be certified with Sit down/ Stand up forklift.

• Create master receipts to allow processing of material from IB routes.

• Conform to Internal Control, Sarbanes Oxley, ISO-9001, ISI-14001, and QMS, EMS programs etc.

MARGINAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• May photograph load upon receipt or shipment.

• Comply with all safety procedure and regulations.

• Assist in keeping work area clean.

• Conform to company, client, and governmental policies and regulations.

• Continue to enhance knowledge of job-related operations.

• Perform other duties as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2 years of general office experience required

• 1 year of customer service experience required

• High School diploma or equivalent required

• Advanced computer skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint required

• AS400 experience preferred

• Regular, predictable, full attendance is an essential function of the job

• Willingness to travel as necessary, work the required schedule, work at the specific location required, complete Penske employment application, submit to a background investigation (to include past employment, education, and criminal history) and drug screening.
