Policy Processing Clerk, Sr. jobs in Monroe, LA

Standard Enterprises has an immediate opening for a Payroll Clerk at our home office in Monroe, LA!

Responsible for:

• Collecting and entering timesheet data
• Updating payroll records; making changes to employee information
• Prepare payroll reports
• Resolve payroll discrepancies
• Prepare payroll tax returns monthly/quarterly/yearly
• Prepare W-2's at year end
• Process garnishments
• Allocating/tracking paid time off
• Managing employee benefits

Requirements

• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Be proficient in Microsoft Office Word, Excel, and Outlook
• Ability to work closely with others in a team atmosphere
• At least one year of previous payroll or accounting related experience
