Polysomnographic Technician jobs in Gulfport, MS
Polysomnographic Technician under the direction of a physician, administers various sleep studies in order to diagnose the type and extent of sleep disorders. Performs routine patient assessments, scores sleep records, documents other test results, and collects and transmits biological specimens for analysis. Being a Polysomnographic Technician typically requires an associate degree or its equivalent and certification as a Polysomnographic Technician. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. TECHNICIAN REQUIREMENTS:
- Knowledge of Suspension Inspections, Diagnosis and Repair
- Knowledge of Brake System Inspections, Diagnosis and Repair
- Knowledge of Electrical System Inspection, Diagnosis and Repair
- Knowledge of Hydraulic System Inspection, Diagnosis and Repair
- Proficient in the use of Diagnostic tools with the ability to interpret and make repairs from Service Manuals
- Ability to complete work within Suggested Repair Times (SRTs) and the ability to estimate time and material required for repairs
- Knowledge to provide assistance and guidance to Assistant Technicians and Shop Helpers.
- CDL Class B (preferred within 12 months)
