Polysomnographic Technician under the direction of a physician, administers various sleep studies in order to diagnose the type and extent of sleep disorders. Performs routine patient assessments, scores sleep records, documents other test results, and collects and transmits biological specimens for analysis. Being a Polysomnographic Technician typically requires an associate degree or its equivalent and certification as a Polysomnographic Technician. Typically reports to a supervisor or manager. Expected pay for this position is $19.81 - $23.31/hour.
Actual pay will be determined by experience, skills and internal equity.
3rd shift differential is an additional $2.25/hour.
POSITION SUMMARY:
A Polysomnographic Trainee develops competency in and performs the basics of polysomnographic testing and associated interventions under clinical guidance of a Polysomnographic Technologist. Collaborates with the Medical Director, Leadership, staff and patients to achieve optimal efficiency and success in sleep disorder function testing and scoring.
