Position Overview :

Under direct supervision of may provide basic supportive services such as gathering and verifying patient information, testing preparation and monitoring, documenting routine observations, data acquisition and scoring, and assisting with appropriate interventions for patient safety.

HS Diploma or General Education Diploma (GED)

Other : currently enrolled in an approved polysomnographic education program.

CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE

BLS-Basic Life Support Healthcare Provider

PSGT-Polysomnographic Trainee from Medical Board of California

SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE

Knowledge of polysomnographic testing.

Ability to apply the concepts and techniques learned in a Polysomnographic educational program to patients in a clinical sleep lab setting.

Ability to work directly with patients.

Effective written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work with others in a team environment.

Ability to follow direction from more experienced staff.

Basic math and analytical skills.

Pay Range is $29.28 to $36.60 / hour
