The IS Application Portfolio Coordinator performs an essential role within the organization, responsible for both the administration of the application portfolio management tool and the management and performance of the application portfolio.
Essential Functions :
Maintains through processes, monitoring, and collaboration with application owners an accurate Application Portfolio database to include all data elements required to support application scoring and application portfolio road mapping.
Develops and produces internal and ad-hoc reports to support decision making and process improvement initiatives related to the application portfolio.
Establishes benchmarking criteria, dashboards, and financial data to support application consolidation, standardization, and retirement decisions;
monitors and reports on realization of financial and other resource benefits.
Gathers and integrates application usage, cost, technical, and value information from different sources / systems; analyzes and interprets to improve application portfolio management processes and refine roadmaps.
Identifies and participates in process improvement initiatives that enhance workflow, and / or improve the work environment.
Monitors and ensures the quality of the application inventory.
Works closely with legal, risk management, and HIM representatives to ensure system retirement and data archive processes follow corporate data retention policies.
Develops policies and desk procedures to support the processes around managing the application inventory, analyzing the application portfolio, and the proper application retirement and data archival.

7 years Relevant work experience : Required
7 years Mastery technical and business knowledge in multiple disciplines / processes : Required
3 years IT Service Management or ITIL experience : Required
