Responsible for managing, evaluating, and monitoring key or complex investment portfolios comprised of bonds, securities, and equity funds in a banking environment. Being a Portfolio Manager monitors daily investment activities to be aware of market changes. Considers legal and tax impact of investment decisions. In addition, Portfolio Manager may manage a team of portfolio manages. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. Requires Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) Level 1. Job Description:
The Portfolio Manager provides a wide range of credit related and monitoring functions relative to the ongoing management of the commercial loan portfolio while supporting one or more Commercial Relationship Manager. The Portfolio Manager is a client-facing role that acts as a primary or secondary point of contact for commercial relationships. The loan portfolio may consist of all types of commercial loans including but not limited to lines of credit, term notes, commercial real estate loans and/or commercial construction loans.
