JOB OVERVIEW
The Director, Marketing & Communications is responsible for planning, development, and implementation of all the Organization’s marketing strategies, communications, and public relations activities, both external and internal. This role is responsible for overseeing the public relations agency, developing and executing the brand strategy, driving lead generation, supporting policy communications, enhancing our customer experience program, and enhancing and executing on our community engagement program. The Director, Marketing & Communications will work closely with U.S. and Mexico business units to support relevant goals and objectives. The ideal candidate is a player-coach who can handle multiple projects in a fast-paced environment, and who can bring fresh and innovative ideas to the table.
JOB LOCATION AND REPORTING TO
This position will be based in our San Francisco office or for the right candidate as a remote position. The Director, Marketing & Communications reports to the SVP, Sales & Marketing and works closely with the Sales, Development, Asset Management, Advisory, and Strategy teams. This person will manage direct reports who manage programs including customer experience, RFP submissions and competitive intelligence, events, and CRM management.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
This position is primarily sedentary in nature and requires prolonged periods of sitting at a desk in front of a computer. This position may require 5-25% travel. The Director, Marketing & Communications should be comfortable traveling to various sites including construction sites and being around heavy equipment.
