Position Overview: We are seeking a creative and ambitious Marketing Director to lead our marketing efforts across all channels. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the cannabis market, be proficient in both digital and traditional marketing strategies, and possess the ability to tell our brands' stories in compelling and innovative ways. This role requires a blend of creativity, strategic thinking, and operational efficiency to elevate our brands' presence in a competitive market.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement comprehensive marketing strategies that align with our company’s goals and values, driving brand awareness and revenue growth across our seven brands.
- Act as a Website Coordinator, ensuring our digital presence is robust, SEO-optimized, and reflective of our brand’s voice and values.
- Oversee all aspects of social media marketing, from strategy to execution, engaging our community and expanding our digital footprint.
- Lead media relations and communications, crafting press releases, and managing inquiries to promote our brands positively and proactively.
- Serve as the lead Photographer and Videographer, creating high-quality visual content that showcases our products and tells our story.
- Write, edit, and oversee the production of engaging and informative ad newsletters, ensuring consistent and impactful brand messaging.
- Direct content creation across all platforms, ensuring a cohesive and attractive brand image that resonates with our target audience.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 4 years of marketing experience, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, preferably in the cannabis industry or a related field.
- Proven track record of developing and executing successful marketing campaigns.
- Strong understanding of website management, social media platforms, SEO, and digital advertising strategies.
- Excellent photography and videography skills, with a keen eye for visual storytelling.
- Exceptional writing and editing abilities, with experience in copywriting and content creation.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong leadership skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.
