    Work Schedule:

    Monday-Friday 4 am until the work is complete for the day. This is generally an 8 to 10 hour shift daily.

    SUMMARY OF DUTIES
    : Responsible for operating an appropriate lift for material movement, including but not limited to, receiving, staging, put away, replenishment of products, and other material moves; also responsible for manually moving product as needed.

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Additional duties, which are necessary to carry out the function of the Lift Operator/Put AWAY, may be assigned and are incorporated by reference into this job description.
    • Responsible for movement of all materials in the warehouse through the operation of assigned equipment
    • Responsible for using Radio Frequency terminal to record the movement of materials for inventory control purposes in accordance with the Radio Frequency Program guidelines for Put-a-ways, Moves, replenishment, and operations
    • Responsible for routine maintenance on forklift equipment, i.e., changing lift batteries
    • Responsible for the safe movement of product, the safety of pedestrian employees, and company/warehouse property
    • Reports to work on time, as directed by the Warehouse Shift Supervisor, and completes all duties in a timely manner
    • Performs the above-listed duties in a cooperative, capable manner, processing the information effectively and communicating the information as needed effectively.
    • All personnel within this job description shall be subject to cross-training into jobs within the organization based on Company needs.

    PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
    • The physical demands of this job include light physical activity performing light strenuous activities of an administrative, productive, and/or technical nature that must be met by the employees to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, sit, use hands to finger, handle or feel, and reach with hands or arms. The employee must occasionally walk and talk or hear. The employee must also be certified in forklift operations.
    • The employee must regularly lift 10 to 25 pounds and occasionally up to 50 pounds.
      Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
    WORK ENVIRONMENT:
    • The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job in a warehouse environment.
    • While performing the duties of this job, the employee must regularly work in wet humid conditions, near-moving mechanical parts, and in outdoor weather conditions. The employee must occasionally work in fumes and airborne particles with the risk of electrical shock.
    • The noise level of the work environment is usually moderate.
