Job Description:
As the Fuel Manager you will be responsible for ensuring assets (tractors and trailers) are compliant to DOT/Company standards, available and positioned to satisfy driver, customer and operational demands.
Your goal is to maximize equipment velocity for improved equipment utilization, driver utilization and increased revenue potential. You will be working with Operations, Drivers, Maintenance and Safety personnel to improve vehicle out of service standards and ensure compliance with safety and inspection requirements.
You will daily handle a variety of equipment and safety issues requiring you to use independent problem resolution and decision making skills.
