Love tools??? We are looking for a Retail Associate to provide excellent customer service and retail support for our business. Candidates with strong communication skills who can make customers feel welcome in our store will stand out. You will help identify customer needs, present and answer questions about our products and services and recommend solutions. A positive attitude and a desire to promptly resolve potential customer issues or complaints will make you successful in this role. Ultimately, you will ensure that customers leave our store satisfied and you will contribute to the store’s continued success.

Responsibilities

• Greet and direct customers
• Provide accurate information (e.g. product features, pricing and after-sales services)
• Answer customers’ questions about specific products/services
• Conduct price and feature comparisons to facilitate purchasing
• Cross-sell products
• Ensure racks are fully stocked
• Manage returns of merchandise
• Coordinate with the Retail Sales team to provide excellent customer service (especially during peak times)
• Inform customers about discounts and special offers
• Provide customer feedback to the Store Manager
• Stay up-to-date with new products/services
• Ship and receive merchandise with close attention to detail
• Price products and stock shelves
• Routinely lift and carry merchandise
• Clean and safely maintain sales and customer areas
• Some Saturdays (8a to Noon) and some overtime is required for this position in accordance with company hours and sale policies.
• Facilitate the entire sales and customer service experience as directed by supervisor.
• Achieve and maintain high degree of user expertise with our POS (point of sale) system for retail sales, customer service, and inventory mangement.
• Routinely lift and carry merchandise up to 50 lbs.

• Ability to perform in fast-paced environments
• Flexibility to work various shifts
• High school degree or equivalent
• Experience and/or expertise with POS, ERP, or any data management will be a big plus!

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $12.50 - $15.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 50 per week
