Overview:

Sadler Power Train is growing and is currently seeking an IT Support Specialist that will be responsible for resolving user issues, documentation, computer deployment, hardware, software and networking issues.

Basic Duties:

• Working with staff diagnosing and resolving computer problems and requests from users in a timely manner
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot hardware, including desktops, laptops, printers.
• Uploading and running price files into our ERP system (Karmak Fusion)
• Assist with phone system hardware/software as needed (Zoom Phone)
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required along with a Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related course of study
• 2 years of proven experience, industry certifications or degrees will be considered in lieu of experience.
• Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office/O365 and Windows operating systems
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Experience with deploying desktop images and the setup of new computers
• Strong organization skills and ability to manage a varying workload
• Excellent verbal and written English language skills
• Experience with Windows 10/11 is required
• Good interpersonal skills, an ability to work well with others
• Positive and friendly attitude
• Some local travel will be required (branch locations in Davenport, Dubuque, and Waterloo

Physical Requirements/Working Conditions:

This position will primarily work in an office environment, there will be times when you are required to go out into the service and warehouse area to work on computers. May, on a continuous basis, sit at desk for a long period of time; intermittently answer telephone and write or use a keyboard to communicate through written means. Must be able to walk, bend, lift up to 50 lbs. and wear appropriate safety equipment (IE- Safety glasses or side shields). Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
