JOB DESCRIPTION: Quality Manager
General Summary: The Quality Manager is responsible for assisting leadership and helping provide direction for the development, implementation and management of all quality improvement related functions to ensure that product quality meets business requirements and is in compliance with industry and customer standards / requirements.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
· Partner with management to create and cultivate a quality culture to “Build In Quality”; empowering each team member to be responsible for the quality of their work.
· Work with the organizations to achieve quality goals and objectives as defined by leading internal resources, supporting the development of quality policies, methods and techniques as well as monitoring operational performance and offering recommendations for course correction.
· Assist in developing tools and training to encourage process improvements and increasing manufacturing yields.
· Mentor / coach problem solving teams with respect to process and / or product improvement as well as to review and approve corrective actions.
· Support cross-functional efforts as a team member with process engineering and develop continuous improvement protocols and training methods

· Proficiency with Microsoft Office; Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
· Knowledge of Mini-Tab or other SPC SW platform a plus.
