SUMMARY
Plans, directs, and coordinates activities concerned with design, construction, modification,
mechanics, licenses, contracts, and maintenance of equipment and machinery in industrial plant
by performing the following duties personally, or through subordinate supervisors.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Participates with the Leadership of Bigfork Valley to support and work toward the
accomplishment of the mission, vision, values, and goals of Bigfork Valley.
Establishes standards and policies for pollution control, installation, modification, quality
control, testing, operating procedure, inspection, mechanics, and maintenance of equipment.
Oversees the maintenance of plant buildings/grounds, housekeeping, and construction projects.
Directs maintenance of plant buildings and coordinates requirements for new designs, surveys,
and maintenance schedules for equipment and machinery.
Prepares bid sheets and contracts for construction and facilities acquisition.
Tests newly installed machines and equipment to ensure fulfillment of contract specifications.
All other duties as assigned.

Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form, and deal with several abstract and concrete variables. COMPUTER SKILLS To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge and experience using personal computers, internet software, Microsoft PowerPoint, Publishing, Excel and Word, or equivalent programs. Prior experience working with building automation systems is preferred. CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS First Class C boiler license required. Chief Engineer C license preferred.
