Communications Security (COMSEC) Operations Support position in the Department of Energy (DOE) National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) Y-12 Communication Security Center (COMSEC) located at Oak Ridge, TN. Position provides support for all COMSEC operations, Classified Help Desk Operations, Computer Access Authorizations, and Classified Entrust/Token Deployments, and is responsible for receiving, inspecting, identifying, storing, labeling, maintaining and disbursing/shipping all COMSEC equipment (STEs, Minis, TACLANES, OMNI Secure Terminals, Vipers, etc.).
Responsibilities include:
The job position currently requires regular business hours support based on 4x10 hour shifts Mondays-Thursdays, and may also include some occasional scheduled Friday and weekend shifts as required for the customer. Also, might include infrequent call-in assistance for troubleshooting during off-shift times.
