What You’ll Do

As the Packout Operator, you will be responsible for packaging PETN in the PETN process. You will operate machinery including industrial powered equipment.

Other duties will include :

• Demonstrate and / or lead the commitment to the pursuit of achieving Zero Harm through behavioral-based safety
• Ensure compliance with applicable HSE performance standards, objectives, and regulations
• Perform responsibilities in production processes as directed by Shift Leader
• Follow standard operating procedures for all Nitration Plant positions
• Adhere to the Housekeeping duties assigned to their area for that day. Assistance must be given if needed in other areas to maintain a safe and clean working environment.
• Train new team members
• Log products according to regulatory requirements
• Prepare products for transportation adhering to packing standards
• Assist maintenance and utility when required
• Maintain safe production and perform ad necessary to meet production schedule and fill in when other teammates are out

What We’re Looking For :

• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• 1 year experience in manufacturing, preferred in energetic material manufacturing and / or chemical manufacturing
• Must be willing to undergo and pass an ATF background check as required to be a possessor of explosives
• Must be able to be trained in operating powered industrial trucks
• Must have a valid drivers license
• Must be able to work the night shift - training may be on day shift
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing
• Able to lift 50 - 60 pounds regularly
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Positive attitude, friendly demeanor, and a team player
