Description

Standard Sand & Silica is looking for motivated individual's that are seeking an opportunity to work with a team of skilled professional to satisfy our customers demands. The Plant Operator role will require multiple skills sets, such as:  

• Operating wheel loaders, off-road forklifts and other machinery.
• The plant operator MUST be able to operate all equipment/ machinery in a safe and effective manner.
• Operators must be willing to fill customer orders quickly and efficiently.
• Ability to meet quality control standards
• Provide assistance to and report to Plant manager with information regarding equipment and customer order status
• Maintaining a clean workspace

Requirements

• MUST be able to work well with others as a team
• Complete tasks given to you by the plant manager
• Observe and follow all safety principles and practices
• Dedication to working when scheduled
• Wear proper PPE at all times
• Must be able to lift 50 – 100 lbs.
• MUST be able to pass a drug screening   

Experience preferred but not required:

• Experience in the mining industry
