    We are currently looking for a DC Power Technician at any level to join our team and support our Oregon market. 

     

    As a part of our DC Power Technician role, your duties will involve:

    • Conducting site visits to assess customer needs and devise effective solutions.
    • Developing comprehensive knowledge of various product lines and understanding their features and capabilities.
    • Installing a diverse range of battery and power systems, encompassing both small and large-scale models.
    • Managing the upkeep of existing systems.
    • Proficiently troubleshooting battery systems and chargers.
    • Surpassing our customers' expectations by delivering exceptional service.
    • Flexibility for some travel as part of the role.

    Qualifications for Ideal Candidates:

     

    At Alpine Power Systems, we are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

    1. Education:

      • High school diploma or GED.
    2. Driver's License:

      • A valid driver’s license with the ability to obtain a CDL.
    3. Experience:

      • DC Power Plant experience is a plus.
    4. Technical Knowledge:

      • Knowledge of battery testing equipment and safety policies and procedures is a plus.
    5. Mechanical Skills:

      • Basic mechanical skills are required.
    6. Physical Capability:

      • Ability to lift 70 pounds.
    7. Customer Service Focus:

      • Strong customer service/solutions focus.
    8. Communication Skills:

      • Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
    9. Technical Understanding:

      • Ability to read and understand basic layout drawings and schematics is a plus.
    10. Must be willing to travel as needed, obtain a DOT medical card, complete new hire drug testing, and have a background that aligns with our customer's requirements.
