The role of the Production Scheduler is to schedule production for the melt shop and roll mill efficiently and communicate these activities effectively with the team. The position analyzes production specifications and capacity data to coordinate meeting customer orders and appropriate inventory levels. In addition, the position tracks and improves material programs including supply chain management and finished/semi-finished inventory planning by implementing forecasting and analytical tools.
