• Accurately collect and input patient and procedural information into clinical systems.
• Provide responsive, high quality customer service to ensure patient and physician satisfaction.
• Promote efficient use of physician resources by assuring provider schedules are filled per protocol and patients are rescheduled per office protocol.
• Handle administration of technical prep direction and ensures accurate placement of patients on the various schedules at all facilities to enable timely delivery of service to the patient.
• Handle telephone calls in an efficient manner to meet corporate guidelines for waits and delays as well as meets abandonment ratio criteria.
• Handle customer account transactions, provide customer assistance including dealing with physician concerns and ensures insurance data is collected accurately to alleviate authorization issues.

Job Requirements

• Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare benefit plans, including Medicare, Medicaid and other third party payors
• Must type 40 wpm and have proficient computer skills
• Must have knowledge of HIPAA rules

Preferred Job Requirements

• Prior experience in physician clinic registration and/or phone scheduling
