The opportunity:

We are seeking a Maintenance Planner – Fixed Plant to help develop and optimise maintenance programs. You will be experienced in planning and scheduling, managing small work teams and ensuring tasks are completed safely and on schedule using CMMS SAP system. This is a site-based FIFO (fly in, fly out) role, flights, accommodation and meals will be included, we are seeking candidates who can start ASAP. This project will run for approximately 12 months In the state of Nevada.

What the role entails

• Establish, maintain and improve the maintenance planning and scheduling
• Prepare reports, analyse data and make recommendations for improving plant operations and solving maintenance issues
• Improving maintenance systems and planning to reduce operational costs and eliminate unplanned downtime due to equipment failure.
• Ensure key performance indicators are captured and reported for equipment reliability, performance, planning and scheduling business flow process
• Develop cost and time estimate of planned maintenance work
• Demonstration of an overriding commitment to health, safety, environmental responsibility, and sustainable development

What you will need

• Must be based in North America with Canadian or USA working rights
• Previous experience as a Maintenance Planner within mining or heavy industries
• Experience working using SAP CMMS system is a must
• Proven ability to successfully develop working relationships across all levels
• Detail orientation, strong planning, organisational, scheduling and coordination skills
